There's a Monster in my Bedroom!
After watching an animation of Mercer Mayer's "There's a Nightmare in my Closet" the 4th graders created crayon resist paintings of their own bedrooms based on Vincent van Gogh's Bedroom in Arles.
Their paintings had to have a monster and Van Gogh's wall shape and floor.

Hey Bethany! Sorry it took so long for me to get back to you. I have been so busy I have not had time to blog! I am still student teaching, I'm at a middle school now. Definitely different than elem. but I still love it!
